Client overview
Ymlaen Consulting is a South-Wales-based business-development consultancy founded by multilingual commercial leader Tina Price. The team helps owner-led businesses build strong foundations, unlock new revenue and grow with confidence under the banner “progress with purpose.”
The challenge
Ymlaen was brand-new to market. The business needed a clear identity, a voice that felt approachable yet expert and a website that could explain three distinct service tiers (business development support, integrated business development and fractional commercial director) without overwhelming busy SME owners. They also wanted early traction in Google for terms around “business development support South Wales” and to look credible when prospects clicked through from networking events or LinkedIn.
Our approach
We treated the project as a fast but thorough launch pad.
Brand story and messaging – We built the narrative around “progress with purpose,” reflecting Tina’s people-first ethos and turning it into copy that speaks plainly about results.
Service architecture – Each package got its own page with scannable overviews, benefit-led bullets and clear calls to action. Content was lifted straight from real conversations with Tina so it sounded like her, not “marketing.”
WordPress build – A lightweight theme, tidy navigation and plenty of white space kept things clean. Images of Tina and South-Wales scenes added warmth.
Foundational SEO – Page titles, meta descriptions and internal links were mapped to primary and long-tail keywords such as “business development support Wales” and “fractional commercial director for SMEs.”
Launch plan – We supplied social snippets and simple templates so Tina could announce the site the moment it went live.
The outcome
The new website gave Ymlaen a clear, credible online presence from day one. It became a useful touchpoint during networking and early conversations, helping explain the business’s offer in a clear, skimmable way. Tina reported positive feedback from contacts who said the site “felt like her” and was easy to navigate. It also gave her a base to build on, from social media to proposals, with a consistent tone and look across everything. While SEO gains are still early days, the structure and content lay solid foundations for future visibility.
